Hogarth Pupils meet the Prime Minister at Great British Summer Savings Event
A group of pupils from Hogarth Primary School enjoyed a memorable opportunity in May when they attended an event at the Everyone Active Centre in King George’s Park, Brentwood, highlighting the Government’s new Great British Summer Savings scheme.
The children met Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who spent time discussing their hobbies, interests and experiences at school. The scheme will allow all children aged five to 15 in England to travel free on participating local bus services throughout August.
Following the event, pupils wrote to the Prime Minister to thank him for the opportunity and invite him to visit Hogarth Primary School.
