Hogarth Primary explore the Houses of Parliament

Hogarth’s Primary School Council pupils from Years 2–6 took part in an engaging and educational visit to the Houses of Parliament, where they deepened their understanding of democracy and British values.

The experience allowed pupils to ask thoughtful questions, learn how Parliament operates, and appreciate how their roles within the School Council reflect those of Members of Parliament.

Mrs King, Deputy Headteacher, said: “A highlight of the day was visiting the public gallery to watch MPs debating in the House of Commons, and witnessing the Speaker’s arrival – a very grand and memorable moment for everyone involved.”
