Unforgettable trip to Hollywood
During the Easter break, 68 Year 10 pupils at St Martin's School embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Hollywood, California. The trip was packed with exciting activities, cultural experiences, and even a few celebrity encounters.
The journey began with a cycle ride along Santa Monica and Venice Beach, giving pupils a chance to enjoy the iconic coastline and soak up the Californian sun. After that, they took part in a heartfelt and meaningful performance at the Union Rescue Mission, offering music and encouragement to those experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.
Pupils then stepped into the world of film with a Hollywood Behind the Scenes tour, exploring famous locations and seeing the Hollywood stars of their favourite actors. They followed this with a visit to the Dolby Theatre, home of the Oscars, where they discovered what it’s like to walk the red carpet and learned about Hollywood’s most glamorous night.
At Universal Studios Hollywood, pupils enjoyed movie-themed attractions and a look at real film sets. The excitement continued at Warner Bros. Studio, where they explored behind the scenes of hit shows and films, saw iconic props and sets—and even had the incredible chance to spot Harrison Ford and meet Jack Black in person!
The trip was a perfect mix of fun, creativity, and inspiration—an Easter break the pupils will be talking about for years to come.
